About CLAN

El origen e historia de CLAN

Hello, I'm Mila!

A few years ago, all my work became fully remote and working became my lifestyle: my routine is to do what I do every day but in new environments. I like to share my days with other people with routines similar to mine but with new knowledge, because if I have seen anything throughout my life (work and personal), it is that diverse groups bring out my inspiration and creativity.

Without knowing it, I have been creating CLAN for several years. It all started in 2020, when from one day to the next they sent us to work remotely. I had always dreamed of being able to travel and work, but I thought that those two verbs, combined, were for other people, with jobs other than mine. I am a psychologist and in those years I was leading a company builder of impact companies called Njambre.

By then, I had experience living abroad (I did a postgraduate degree in Nairobi, Kenya in 2015) and had focused on developing talent and leadership for entrepreneurs and their teams.

When my team became remote in that pandemic 2020, I needed to escape my apartment in Buenos Aires and be in touch with nature. I went to live in Tandil, in a small house of 40 square meters overlooking the mountains and near a stream.

Not only did I go to live in nature, but I was also able to continue doing my work. I learned about recess, about my times, about how my head rests, I learned to weave new networks that are a little virtual and with a lot of desire to be in person. I learned how seasons, moons and natural processes affect me. I learned to work in new ways and to create and be inspired by new environments.

By the time the pandemic cleared up a bit, my philosophy of life had changed dramatically. And I began to want to dedicate myself to studying and learning about the new digital talent that was emerging. I went to study in Stockholm, where I did a master's degree in digital management. My next job allowed me to get together and co-work with friends, visiting them at their homes in different corners of the planet. I understood that, along with the enormous freedom that had been given to those of us who never returned to face-to-face life, there were also several challenges.

Little by little, I plunged into the world of Digital Nomads And the remote professionals. And one day, all my ideas, desires and experiences converged at CLAN. I called it that because, in addition to being fanatical about the lifestyle that jobs give me, I have a passion for creating communities, uniting groups. Create clans, well. And I love what is generated in each CLAN experience: friendships, partnerships, ideas.

If your work can be done for a week from anywhere in the world and you are looking for inspiration, connection with nature and with this great community, perhaps one of our next experiences is what you were looking for.

I would love to meet you at one of our destinations.

Mila
